Tomorrow is the Combined Speech Day Rehearsal.

Our gathering time: 1.30pm
Our gathering venue: Music Room

All of us (performers) have to get ready in the hall by 2.15pm.

Let's make this rehearsal the LAST one and a good one before the actual Speech Day Performance on this coming Friday (4April).

Btw, I've seen the noticeboard that there's a little love note for me. Thank you for loving me more than my husband does. :)

Hi all,

thanks for all your posts and for the encouraging comments about the choir and teachers. You've all worked very hard too and deserve to be commended. I'd just want you to know that you have the talent and the gift of song within you, just don't be too self-conscious when you're on stage and just go ahead and enjoy yourself.

For the next few rehearsals leading up to your speech day, remember to stand tall and not fidget on stage. Always smile (everything is forgiveable when you smile)! Do not be afraid of the microphones, they are your friends, they can help you, so always look upwards and sing upwards into the mikes. In fact you should sing past the mikes, imagine a little deaf old man sitting at the far end of the hall and sing to that little man.

Remember you should never touch your face or hair or adjust your uniform or scratch you body. People are watching. Just be still and look pretty. OPEN YOUR MOUTHS AND BREATHE, BREATHE, BREATHE. ALL THE TIME and ALL THE WAY. To inspire you, I've attached a little clip of a choir below. Observe their posture and mouth shape and the way they behave on stage. Have fun and HUGZ!

okay first time posting here even though i created this blog.=D
and i found out that ALOT of ppl use the phrase 'first time posting here'.=D
so i mus of cus stick in la.
hahahahahaha.XD
anyway i think i talk about why i join choir la.xD
when i was told that i got into choir,
i was really really shocked.
so are my friends.
hahahahhaha.XD
the reason i was shocked was because i don't really remember putting choir as one of my CCA choices.
cus our school's choir's impression to me was that it was very sweet and soft all those la.
so of course it wasn't the CCA i will want.
and i didn't know i could sing at all!XD
so i decided i will go for once and try it out.
or like maybe tell the teacher in charge that i wants to quit.
but when i step out of the music room that day after my first choir practice,
i decided i will stay in choir.
cus its really damn nice!=D
the senoirs and everything,and even the teacher and conductor.=D
and the thing i really like about choir is the massage part.XD
and the break.
hahahahahaha.XD
but really lah,choir really damn fun.XD
though i got two CCA,
i sitll try to attend both.=)
hahahahahahha.X)
i think this is about all la..
then now i talk about that day the choir speech day rehearsel bah.=D
that day quite fun too.XD
but very unfair.
cus i have to stand in e middle and in the FRONT row when i am TALLER than JOCELYN.

not fair!!!!
then at first i was standing at the back,
laughing at JOCELYN.
then when MR.GOH told me to change place with JOCELYN,
imagine lah,
JOCELYN was laughing like hell.
i until now still duno why i have to stand in the front!D=
nvm we everytime also change the place we stand,
so i WON'T BE IN THE FRONT ROW NEXT PRACTICE.
and it will be MY turn to laugh at JOCELYN.
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.XD

hmm , suddenly thought of something during reading period this morning .
next year we will be having SYF right ?
i guess i don't have the chance to particapate . lols .
maybe won't be staying for sec5 next year .
 
hmm , but i think by the time (next year) our school choir can gain a bronze or silver award ? hah .

Hello I am Yuh Horng ... I am very happy today. LOL. 'cos I saw Mdm Juliana. (It's a white lie.) Then today Priscilla, Linda, Carine and I had the photo taking session for the school magazine. The photographers asked us to open our mouth. And we look like dead fish from the picture! Sobx  
 
Then we went to D&T Staff room to type this entry. (Hahaha ) Then Priscilla had a bad stomachache. AND SHE IS BACK!

Welcome to the Serangoon Secondary School Choir! :)

Ever since this blog is created, many of you have asked me for the email address and the password, so that you can post here.

THANK YOU for your enthusiasm and eagerness to post here! We are really happy to receive your positive responses. In order to keep this blog “kicking and alive and not dying” (quoted by Carine. *haha*), Mr. Goh, me & YOU will start posting here!
