World Youth Choral Festival 2008
Dear all, especially Nururl, Jiamin and Jocelyn,Few days ago,I have smsed you who will be able to particiapte in the upcoming World Youth Choral Festival 2008. I've received some of your replies. So, I've nominated Nurul, Jiamin and Jocelyn to participate in this event.
This event is not only for secondary school students, but also for students from Junior College. It will be led by internationally - renowned conductors. You will be required to attend a pre-festival camp, and perform at the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival.
All the students will be divided into 2 groups - SSA( Festival Choir A) and SATB (Festival Choir B).
The cominbed festival choir will premiere the theme song of WYCF 2008 with Singapore National Youth Orchestra under the baton of Lim Yau (Singapore) at the opening ceremony on 9 Dec, and perform a few works under the direction of Bob Chilcott (UK) at the closing ceremony on 13Dec.
Participants will perform a few more songs in either Festival Choir A or B, led by Kari Turunen (Finalnd) and Eugene Rogers (USA) respectively.

Time flies ... The 1st outdoor singing performance was held on 30August and it's just like yesterday!
