Let's read the examiner's comments...

VOCAL EXERCISES

"There were some interesting exercises here exploring several vowels and rising/ falling in semitones. Then you included legato and staccato scales which were well negotiated. Vocal range rather limited today and some exercises on breathing would have been welcome."

PROGRAMME

"Sing a song of sixpence - was sung with a full and well projected sound and parts were well balanced when they split. Diction was clear and syncopations well judged - now project text in your faces & eyes."

"Castle in the Sky - produced some neatly good and resonant sounds and the voices were well blended. Attack was clean and the story was well told. Again, facial involvement would have been a real bonus. There was a good sense of flow in Winds but the rather loud opening detracted from a feeling of "magic" and there were some pitch problems in the divided sections. Be sure to keep consonents energised."

Keep up the good work and of course many cheers and thanks to Mr.Adyll! :D

Cheers,

mdm Juliana
