make your own musical notes!
Dear Choir,

Welcome back to school.

I've sms almost all of you on Sunday about the making of musical notes. Remember when we went to ACJC Open House and we saw someone pinned those colourful musical notes on their shirts?

YES, THAT IS THE ONE I'M REFERRING TO ...

I've tried creating some musical notes/ words and it's pretty fun doing it.

The main thing is don't think too much about the design. JUST DO IT!

Here are some of the samples:

Sample 1 - 1st creation.

It's obvious that this is my 1st attempt as it is shown clearly by the ugly black outlines.

It's perfectly fine if you use permanent black ink as outline. Don't try to wash it. It will get worst.

My hand is pretty itchy after cutting the pink felt and I felt it's pretty empty so I tried sewing 3 unused buttons on it.

It's perfectly OK if you don't sew/glue anything on it. The choice is yours.

If you want to make your musical notes shiny, UP TO YOU. There's no limit to your creativity. After all, it's going to pin onto your choir T.

Sample 2 - yellow musical notes sew onto the blue felt

Sample 3 - blue onto pink background

Sample 4 - using the spare felt to sew the words "CHOIR" together

The background of each picture is black as i'm trying to show you how it looks like when it's completed. Remember, our choir T is black?

Btw, it not a must to sew together if you've never sewed anything before. I don't want you to sew your hands together with the felt. I don't have glue to join them together so I sew. It's NOT compulsory for you to sew.

Have fun!

Cheers,
mdmJ
